Working in accordance with the client’s specification, we were required to apply intumescent paint, to achieve 60 minutes fire protection to the steelwork, of four newly constructed retail units.
A decorative topcoat was applied to manage the aesthetic requirements of the individual retailers; Aldi, M&S, Screwfix and LDF. Multiple Fire stopping methods were utilised, throughout each unit, in order to separate shop floors and back of house.
